Hi there, thank you for visiting my website. I’m Sebastian, a New Yorker originally from Taiwan. Whenever people ask me what I do, my mind always pauses for a moment because I find it challenging to define myself. People who know me well often refer to me as a Renaissance man, and that description is fairly accurate. However, I believe being a Renaissance man isn’t so much about excelling in multiple fields, but about how one manages to do so. In my case, I think it’s because I’m particularly adept at learning and applying what I learn.
I have never been content with pursuing just one avenue in my life; this mindset began during my undergraduate years. Despite the demanding curriculum at school, I committed to traveling to another city every week for classical voice and piano lessons. This dedication eventually led me to major in voice in graduate school. Even as my path shifted, I never let go of my earlier disciplines—partly because I didn’t want to, and partly because I continued receiving invitations to take on various projects.
As a result, I often found myself juggling multiple projects at once within the realms of performing arts and special events. This experience sharpened my ability to manage numerous responsibilities under tight deadlines. Along the way, I also developed into a creative problem solver, leader, communicator, and relationship builder.

Currently, I serve as the Creative Director of Infinity Island LLC, a NYC-based company that I launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company functions as a platform for integrating my diverse skill set, promoting fellow artists, and engaging in various creative projects.
In addition, I work as a speech coach and voice teacher at Infinity Island. My journey as a speech coach has been deeply shaped by my classical vocal training at the Manhattan School of Music. The extensive diction training I received in English, Italian, German, and French has given me a strong foundation in articulation. I combine this knowledge with performance techniques to enrich my coaching approach. Since beginning my practice in 2020, I have supported a diverse clientele across continents with accent reduction, public speaking, and vocal health. My cross-cultural background further enables me to incorporate intercultural communication into my coaching.
Apart from being a speech coach, voice teacher, and singer, I am also a skilled wig artist, hairstylist, and costume designer/constructor, with my work appearing on national stages. Before moving to New York, I taught at my alma mater, National Taiwan University (NTU). During my time as an instructor in NTU’s Department of Drama and Theatre, I designed and taught the university’s first wig course and led mandatory classes in theatrical production and costume techniques. This experience helped me discover my passion and aptitude for teaching, coaching, and mentoring. Today, whenever I return to Taiwan, I continue to offer wig workshops at NTU, nurturing the next generation of wig artists.

With over a decade of experience in the creative field, I have grown into a highly versatile individual. The unique demands of each project have pushed me to learn and master new tools in order to achieve the best possible results. This ongoing journey of growth is something I truly enjoy, and it continues to reveal new facets of who I am. Whatever brought you here, I hope that one day we can collaborate and create something amazing while having a blast along the way!
